pol-cvijanovic_620x0-1The RS Prime Minister Željka Cvijanović announced yesterday in Foča that the RS government is firmly committed to supporting cooperation with all municipalities and structures of local communities in the RS, because she wishes to resolve priority development issues through joint cooperation.

“We gave most attention to state of the municipal budget, which is in poor condition due to an inherited deficit. We have agreed with the Minister of Finance to continue to work with municipal leadership on an operative plan, with the goal to find ways for the RS government to help municipality Foča’’, said Cvijanović to journalists after the meeting with the leadership of the municipality.

According to her, they have already begun the second phase of the construction of the student building, for which the European Investment Bank has provided funds.

“We are aware of the fact that here we have to intervene and support tourism, and we have defined that in all projects and activities we have to act rationally and realistically’’, said Cvijanović.

She also welcomed the municipal initiative for providing employment, saying that for that plan it would lead to connecting local projects with an already precise plan of the RS government in creating more employment. This involves a number of investors in Foča.

At the meeting they spoke of the realization of a number of projects in the electro-energy network and local water supply.

“We are firmly committed to working together with municipality Foča and would arrive at an improvement of the overall situation in the most important sectors of life and work. Mutual will is there, and it is up to use to determine the dynamics of our future activities’’, said the Prime Minister of the RS.
