RS Prime Minister With Representatives of “Njeftegazinkor”

The Prime Minister of the RS Željka Cvijanović and representatives of the company “Njeftegazinkor” agreed yesterday in Banja Luka for a working group for monitoring the fulfillment of the obligations under the contract on the sale of the oil industry of the RS to this company meets once a month and discusses open issues. The goal is to establish favorable conditions for the development of the oil industry in the RS.

There was also an expressed willingness to begin activities in BiH institutions, with the goal of improving the conditions for the current and future foreign investments.

It was assessed at the meeting that in the last period there was a noticeable trend of improving economic cooperation between the RS and Russia, and expressed satisfaction with the effects of the Russian capital investments in the oil industry.

It was also concluded that there are many areas for further cooperation at an economic and business level.

The Russian “Njeftegazinkor” is the majority owner since 2007 of the oil refineries in Bosanski Brod, Modrič and the Banja Luka “Petrola”.
