The session of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska will continue today with the consideration of the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Real Rights, and after the end of the regular session, a special session should be held.
The agenda of the regular session also includes the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Voluntary Pension Funds and Pension Plans, the work report and financial report of the RS Concessions Commission for the past year. Information on obligations arising from the EU accession process will also be considered, with an overview of measures and activities implemented during 2024.
The RS National Assembly will also consider information on decisions on pardons in 2024, and a proposal for a decision on accepting RS’s debt to the World Bank – International Bank for Reconstruction and Development under the Health System Improvement Project.
After the end of the regular session, special sessions of the RS National Assembly will continue, and the topic is the Law on Financing Political Parties.
Amendments to the Law on Financing Political Parties that would eliminate funding from the budget for parliamentary parties in the RS were not on the agenda of the session of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska, because there was not enough votes.
This law comes as a reaction of the entity government to the decision of Kristijan Šmit to eliminate funding for the SNSD and United Srpska from the budget of all levels of government in BiH.
