Russia has banned 347 Citizens of the Baltic Countries from entering the Country

Russia has added 347 citizens of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia to the list of individuals prohibited from entering the country, as a response to the hostile policy of the Baltic countries towards Moscow, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

The press release states that ministers, MPs, public figures and journalists are among the banned persons, and that the list can be expanded at any time.

The Ministry clarified that it is about actions of the hostile policy of the Baltic states towards Russia, and active lobbying by Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia to introduce additional sanctions against Moscow, interference in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation and persecution of the Russian-speaking population.
