Russian Embassy: The Story of Russian Camps in RS designed to camouflage Western Policy towards Moldova

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that it is now quite clear that the aim of the disinformation about the so-called Russian camps in Republika Srpska was to camouflage the West’s direct interference in the internal affairs of Moldova.

The statement states that, according to information received from the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, the EU is increasingly treating Moldova as its vassal.

The destructive influence of the EU on Moldova has already led to a catastrophic polarization of the local society, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service states, and states that a time bomb has been planted under the foundations of Moldovan statehood.

“This was confirmed by the instructions of the Head of the EU Delegation in Chisinau, Janis Mazeiks, to the leadership of the ruling party, in which he demanded that opposition leaders be held criminally accountable, as well as that the head of Gagauzia be dismissed, and the main members of her team be arrested on criminal charges,” the Russian Embassy said in a statement.

Mazeix, as stated, also ordered the Moldovan leadership to enable the creation of a new pro-Western party “For a European Moldova” in the country under the leadership of former Foreign Minister Nicolás Popescu.
