Ryanair, the leading European low-cost company, shows a serious interest in the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

The general director of Mostar Airport, Ivan Ljubic, said that negotiations with Ryanair about flights to this city are entering the final phase.

Speaking at the promotion of Croatia Airlines’ upcoming Zagreb – Mostar flights, Ljubic pointed out:

”We are getting Croatia Airlines flights, we are negotiating a partnership with a Greek carrier, and we are in the final phase of negotiations with Ryanair.

Ryanair and Mostar Airport have discussed possible flights on several occasions since 2012. Mostar Airport handled 39 passengers during the first quarter of 2023, with five passengers in January, thirty in February and four in March, ” Ex-Yu Aviation News reported.

It should be reminded that Ryanair is already very successfully operating flights from Banja Luka, but that it has announced, at least temporarily, the suspension of flights from Tuzla. In parallel, the company is also negotiating with Sarajevo Airport about the establishment of flights, as previously announced, Avaz reports.
