Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH Goran Salihović said that a case against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik does not exist in this judicial institution.
Salihović highlighted that three or four cases against Dodik have been closed until now, and that “there exists no case Dodik” in the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
“There was something against Milorad Dodik, for example a kilogram of gold, and the majority of those cases are closed,” Salihović said.
Salihović claims that the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is not under political pressure and that all acts and activities of police agencies are being implemented on the basis of laws.
Furthermore, Salihović emphasized that it is not the job of the Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić to arrest him.
“We respect the law and implement all activities on the basis of the law. Of course, the Minister cannot arrest anyone nor it is his job. He is a politician and can say anything,” Salihovič pointed out.
Speaking of the investigation regarding the population census in BiH, Salihović said that he acted preventively with the aim of determining whether there are elements of a criminal offense, because it would be an enormous damage for BiH if the results are not obtained.
Salihović added that the one hiding the results will be prosecuted and that the one who caused the damage of 52 million BAM, which is the cost of the population census in BiH, will respond.
