airportAccording to statistics, 109.141 passengers were served at the Sarajevo International Airport in July, which represents an increase by as much as 22 percent in comparison with the same month last year. Therefore, this is the new record in the number of passengers in one month.

In the period from January 1 until July 31, a total of 466.606 passengers were served, which is by six percent more than last year.

It is reasonable to expect this positive trend of growth in the number of passengers to continue in the coming period as well. This will be contributed to by the introduction of direct flights between Doha and Sarajevo of the company Qatar Airways, which was planned for November, stated the Sarajevo International Airport.

Final number of passengers at the end of the year should exceed 800.000, which would be another record-breaking number for the Sarajevo International Airport.
