Sarajevo Brewery achieved 205,000 BAM of Profit last year

pivaraSarajevo Brewery achieved net profit of 205 000 BAM in 2015, after in the same period last year it operated with a profit of 1.68 million BAM.

Sarajevo Brewery achieved operating income of 30.6 million BAM, after it achieved 30.8 million BAM in the previous year.

While sales revenues compared to 2014 are slightly increased, other operating incomes decreased.

Operating expenses were 29.2 million BAM and decreased compared to the previous year when they amounted to 32.1 million BAM.

Profit from operating activities reached 1.4 million BAM, after the previous year it achieved a loss of 1.3 million BAM.

Sarajevo Brewery had a loss of the financial activities of 653 000 BAM last year after 1.4 million of loss in the previous year.

The smaller loss from financial activities was primarily a result of lower interest expense.

On the basis of other revenues and expenses, the company recorded a loss of 491 000 BAM, after it achieved a profit of 6.18 million BAM in the previous year.

Loss from adjustment of value amounted to 352,000 BAM in comparison to 2.4 million BAM in 2014.

Short-term obligations of the company were decreased to 24.58 million BAM (25.16 million BAM in 2014), and long-term obligations increased to 104.01 million BAM (102.58 million in 2014).

The company has 363 employees, which is 94 employees less than a year earlier.

Hilmo Selimovic is the majority shareholder in Sarajevo Brewery with 69.1 %, while Mujo Selimovic owns 0.12 % of shares.
