The Ministry for Labor, Social Affairs, Displaced People and Refugees in cooperation with the Division of Employment for Sarajevo Canton will employ 360 trainees various levels.

The employment program provided trainees with the opportunity to complete an internship-260 people with high education and 100 trainees that are graduates of secondary programs.

These young people visited employers in Sarajevo who were presented with the possible benefits they could have if they employed the trainees.

This is a very attractive project for employers. Every employer who receives a trainee that has high qualifications will obtain 600 KM for 12 months per trainee.

Employers that employ trainees with middle qualifications will receive 500 KM per month per trainee. The employers will use this to pay salaries and the taxes and contributions for the trainees, announced in a press conference.

“Employers who wish to participate in employing trainees have to file an application, which will be released on 15 March. After that, a list of ranking employers will be made so the business could be evaluated. The most point will be given to production capacity. Employers who have earlier participated in this program will have an advantage, and those who kept trainees on for employment afterwards’’, said Muamer Bandić, the Minister for Labor, Social Policy, Displaced Peoples and Refugees.

Employers who wish to participate in this program have to file an application within the specified time frame stipulated on the application, which will be available after 15 March.
