Intensive works on the future direct connector of the City of Sarajevo to the highway A1, are carried out this month.
It is the construction of LOT 2A, almost 3 km long route from Butile Loop to the beginning of the viaduct Briješće, the construction of the span structure of Briješće viaduct with a total length of 720 meters and works on rondo Briješće.
Apart from these activities, all the works on two separate roads on LOT-2B about 500 meters long are done, as stated by the Public Company “Roads of FB&H”.
“There is a notable progress in the realization of the project, with a statement that the Contractor is following the schedule planned by the contract, thanks to their good organization. According to current indicators, the agreed deadline for completion of all the works should not be in question,” as announced by PC “Roads of FB&H.”
150 workers of all occupations, in the presence of more than 40 different machines necessary for the execution of contract works, are performing the works on construction sites.
“Until now, considering the period of works from the beginning of April until the end of July 2015, the percentage of the work done in relation to the works contracted is around 40 %,” as confirmed by PC Roads of FB&H.
This is very important connector of Sarajevo that from rondo Briješče, through the viaduct Briješće connects with the highway A1, and also represents the connection to the main roads M-5, M-17 and M-18. Moreover, the city is connected through the Stupska loop and the street Safet Zajko, as well as all the surrounding settlements: Bačići, Rajlovac, Reljevo, Krivoglavaci and Jošanica.
