The Sarajevo Festival of Tourism, which will be held from October 19 to 21, at Skenderija Center, will gather a total of 75 exhibitors from six different countries.

BiH, Croatia, Serbia, Turkey, Indonesia, and India will be presented, and India is the country partner of the Sarajevo Festival of Tourism.

“It is not just a fair manifestation anymore, the whole area of the Skenderija Center will be dedicated to this fair. The program will be organized from the very entrance where the gastronomic offer will be placed,” said Kapo, who also added that the festival will be accompanied by the cultural program that will be held at the Youth Home.

Kapo also announced a conference that will be held on October 20, which is entitled “Marketing in Digital Tourism”. He invited all young people and students who are dealing with tourism or who are planning to do it in the future, to visit the conference where they will be informed about new technologies that will be, or already are, related to the sector of tourism.

“Sarajevo bands will close the Sarajevo Festival of Tourism with the performance at the Youth House,” said Kapo.

The President of the Tourist Board of Canton Sarajevo, Nermin Muzur, said that this festival represents a new beginning of the presentation of tourism as an important part of the economy.

“We have recognized this project as very important. We believe that no tourist destination can be completely a destination without its own festival of tourism,” stated Muzur.

The Sarajevo Festival of Tourism represents the expanded manifestation of the International Fair of Tourism and the tourism stock exchange that is held by Centar Skenderija since 1970. Also, the International Hotel Equipment and Catering Fair will be held this year as well.
