The Minister of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection Almir Becarevic presented this week to the director of the company NEGRO CROWN d.o.o. Sarajevo Zlatko Sejmenovic, a permit for waste management for the processing and recycling of old waste tires.

This created the conditions for starting the first plant for the recycling of old waste tires by mechanical processing in Canton Sarajevo (CS).

On that occasion, Minister Almir Becarevic praised the initiative, the investment of about 800.000 BAM and this brave move by the real sector that wants to be included in the waste recycling system, which will significantly contribute to the improvement of the environment in CS, especially due to the fact that old tires pollute the environment.

Through this project in CS, 10 new jobs will be created and the opportunity for all legal and natural persons to dispose of old tires in a legal and ecologically acceptable manner, which will greatly contribute to environmental protection in CS.

Namely, the Law on Waste Management and the Rulebook on Waste Tire Management prescribe that old tires must be recycled and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner, Biznis Info reports.
