aerodrom_sarajevo_110713According to the website of the Sarajevo Airport, in a report for the first half of the current year, there has been a revenue increase in all profit centers (cargo, trade, hospitality, complementary services) and the most significant increase was recorded in the primary activities-passenger handling and aircraft.

In the first six months of this year, there was a recorded 303.829 passengers, which is 15 percent more in comparison to the same period last year.

A rise in the number of passengers is expected in the next period because there is an increase in flights during the summer months. During the summer season in Sarajevo Airport, there are 10 regular airline companies, among which are three low-cost, and a large number of charters, which takes passengers to some of the most attractive tourist destinations.

When it comes to establishing new lines, airlines, both regular and low-cost, express interest for flights towards Sarajevo, and Sarajevo Airport is always open for cooperation and lending support, especially in the form of price subsidy for the introduction of new lines.

As Sarajevo airport is continuously working to raise the quality of its services, it has recently renovated the restaurant “Aerodrom”, whose doors are open for all visitors from 7:00-22:00.

The Business Lounge has also been renovated and offers modern and contemporary technological equipment and provides people with a superb comfort and atmosphere.

Sarajevo International Airport will work to continuously improve the quality of its services in accordance with high world standards.
