Sarajevo Mayor Karic: Nothing more beautiful than our rich Tradition

The Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karic, sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Eid to all believers of the Islamic faith and also shared the joy of this holiday with fellow citizens on Bacaarsija Square.

Karic talked to the citizens and, in accordance with the tradition of Eid, handed out baklava.

“I shared the joy and blessing of Eid with my fellow citizens with baklava on Bascarsija Square. There is nothing more beautiful than our rich tradition and human warmth. I sincerely want success, health and happiness to accompany us all through life. Eid is empty,” Karic wrote.

The mayor also spoke earlier in a message in which she sent congratulations to all believers on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

“After fasting, which put your mind and body to great temptation and strengthened your soul, the day of great joy has come. The believer comes out of Ramadan as a better man, and good people do good to the community and society. We pray that mercy, forgiveness and security follow us. , our Sarajevo and our homeland throughout the year and all my life. Please, in accordance with tradition, share the joy of this holiday with your neighbors. Bajram sherif mubarek olsun “, said the mayor of Sarajevo Benjamina Karic, Klix.ba writes.
