The documentary film “Olympics in Sarajevo”, by Muhamed Bikić, produced by Federal Television, which was filmed on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Winter Olympic Games, attracted a lot of attention around the world, and this year it is a regular participant of the festival.

At the 13th traditional international festival in Zlatibor, it received a special special award for its contribution to film art, television and sports, while at the Second International Festival in Budva, it was declared the best medium-length documentary film.

“Thank you to the organizers in Zlatibor and Budva, led by Oliver Nikitović and Miloš Todorović, as well as the eminent jury, who recognized the importance of our BiH documentary as a culture of memory. Just as the legendary Jure Franko told me in 2010 in Bjelašnica mountain that the silver medal he won in Sarajevo on February 14, 1984 is a medal for all of us from the area of the former Yugoslavia, so is this film of ours – a film of all of us,” said the author of the film, Muhamed Bikić, who, after Zlatibor and Budva, is traveling to Milan, where the “Sport movies & TV 2024 – 42nd Milano International Fictions Fest” will be held from November 5 to 9.

“Let’s move on with our, all of us, Olympics. And the Festival in Milan is, among other things, in the spirit of Olympism and we hope for good news, although only participating at the invitation of the organizers is a great honor for the Federal Television and me as the author, who compared with festivals, I am already working on the new documentary ‘Ivica Osim Boulevard’, the untold story from the childhood of the legendary Strauss from Grbavica, which should premiere next year on Federal Television”, said Muhamed Bikić, author of the documentary films “Kelly”, ” Hase”, “Škija”, “Sports greeting from Sarajevo”, “Zeljo’s hundred”, Sports ambassadors of BiH”, “Čobo” and “Olympics in Sarajevo”.
