Restaurateur and great humanitarian Taip Fidani, who was respected and loved by many citizens of the capital of BiH, has passed away.

As a member of the Fidani family, Taip was involved in running a number of catering businesses in Sarajevo, among which are the Bosna and Olimpik restaurants and the Sport patisserie.

“Sarajevo lost a great humanist. Many of those who had nothing to eat could always come to Bosna and there would be something for them… Taip Fidani. Goodbye, legend,” stated the City of Sarajevo Facebook page.

Taip is one of the founders of the Albanian Cultural Center in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Numerous citizens say goodbye to him on social networks.

“Thanks to the noble soul”, “This man was wonderful, always approachable and nice. May the Lord grant him Paradise”, are some of the comments. The Albanian portal infoshqip.com states:

“Taip will be remembered for his humanity as a tireless activist for his homeland and Albanian associations in Sarajevo.”, Klix.ba reports.
