Yesterday’s beautiful and sunny day lured walkers to Sarajevo’s central promenade. In addition to walking, many used the sunny weather to drink coffee in the gardens, but also to finish their duties.
As noted by N1 photojournalist Faruk Zametica, you could feel the festive atmosphere in the air, Christmas, but also the New Year, which is just around the corner. The city is full of tourists and diaspora who have come to spend the last days of 2023 in the city on Miljacka. There are at least two winter festivals with varied music and entertainment programs, and there are plenty of other activities.
It was 13 degrees and there was not a cloud in the sky. The smog disappeared as well. On the IQ page, Air Sarajevo is “only” in 21st place.
