The building of socio-political organizations (DPO) in Sarajevo became the property of the city today by the decision of the City Council of the City of Sarajevo.

For the first time after the aggression, Sarajevo will have registered property, thus ensuring the existence of the city as an institution.

With the decision of the City Council, an extremely important step was taken today, which represents the legal basis for the registration of the ownership rights of the DPO building located in Hamdije Kresevljakovica Street in the City of Sarajevo.

“In this way, we will not only strengthen the position of the City of Sarajevo, but for the first time, as an institution, we will have our own property and the right of ownership on the property where the City’s seat has been since 1999. In addition to the household relationship with our own house, we must equally to protect and take care of the assets of our City of Sarajevo,” said Mayor Benjamina Karic.

With this act, the city government succeeded in registering the building used by the FBiH Parliament as its property, Klix.ba writes.
