Sarajevo Winter Market was opened last night at the square next to the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, and a variety of activities for visitors will be available until the 15th of January 2017.

Representative of the Sarajevo Winter Market, Edin Mesanovic, said that this year’s complete content was designed to “introduce smell and sound of walkers from Ferhadija Street”, for which he hopes that they will enjoy and that each one of them will find something for themselves. He believes that Sarajevo, if it really wants to develop tourism, needs contents like this on multiple locations, as it is evidenced by the experience of cities from surrounding countries, including Europe and the world.

He emphasized that they included some contents on the experience of other European cities this year, which refers to the gastronomic corner and products from local artists and creators. Entertainment in a tent Lasko Winter Pub is unavoidable, and visitors will have various contents (day and night) for all ages at their disposal.

In the next month, Santa Claus will be in his village every day, and his house will be at disposal to all children. They can be photographed with Santa Claus, who will hang out with them throughout the day.

Christmas tree is set in the center of Sarajevo Winter Market, and visitors can buy products (gift packages and toys for children, products of fan shops FC Sarajevo, FC Zeljeznicar and BC Bosna, jewelry and cosmetics, handicrafts, wool honey and other bee products) in specially designed wooden houses at reasonable prices.
