The former coach of Železničar, Hakeem Al-Tuwaijri, resigned from the position of head of the professional staff of the club from Grbavica, it was confirmed for Klix.ba.
After a weak half-season, Željezničar is only one place above the relegation zone, which surely even the most pessimistic fans in Grbavica could not have expected, and the Saudi did not manage to change things for the better either.
Forty-four-year-old Al-Tuwaijr succeeded Nermin Bašić on the bench of the Blues, and in four games he experienced three defeats and one draw.
According to Transfermarkt data, Al-Tuwajiri was only an assistant at Slavia Prague in his career before coming to Željezničar from February to June of this year when he assisted Jindrich Trpisovsko in his work.
In addition, Al-Tuwaijri was educated in the strongest European leagues. In the Football Association of England, he obtained the first and second level of education for a football coach, and he obtained the UEFA A and Pro license in the football associations of Scotland and Northern Ireland.
He completed his master’s degree in football management at the institute of one of the world’s greatest ever footballers, the Johan Cruyff Institute in Barcelona.
