Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Education, Science and Youth has recommended for schools in Canton Sarajevo to delay student travel outside Bosnia and Herzegovina as the best decision regarding the current coronavirus situation in the world, Avaz news portal reports.

“Today, we received an order from the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health, which recommends, among other things, schools to cancel excursions and organized trips to Italy for the safety of students and teachers. We ask schools to adhere to these recommendations,” Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Canton Sarajevo Zineta Bogunic said.

She emphasized that the Ministry is in constant contact with all relevant institutions, to follow their instructions and in due time inform educational institutions in Sarajevo Canton.

It is recalled that there are still no confirmed cases of coronary virus infection in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and all three findings of Chinese nationals admitted to the KCUS and tested for coronavirus are negative.

Situations similar to these have been reported previously in the rest of Europe, especially in Italy, the Lombardy region.

Crisis staffs in BiH have previously confirmed that there is no room for panic and excessive concern, and have advised citizens to act on the recommendations of health ministries and public health institutes, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.
