The Embassy of Hungary in Bosnia and Herzegovina is inviting the public to attend the screening of the romantic comedy “Gone Running”, directed by Hungary’s most successful filmmaker Gábor Herendi, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 8:00 PM at Kino Meeting Point.
The screening is organized within the framework of the V4 Film Festival, and on the occasion of the Hungarian Presidency of the Visegrád Group (V4). Following the film, guests are invited to a reception in the lobby of Kino Meeting Point. Both the film screening and reception are free of charge.
“Gone Running” tells the story of Vera, who, after the sudden death of her husband, decides to fulfill his last wish – running a marathon relay with their three daughters. The family faces emotional and physical challenges as they prepare for the race, each confronting personal struggles along the way. Despite doubts from relatives and friends, Vera’s determination drives them all toward an inspiring and heartwarming journey of love, loss, and resilience.
The film, directed by Gábor Herendi, known for his hit comedies and popular storytelling, promises an evening filled with humor, emotion, and uplifting moments celebrating family and perseverance.
