Who will be the chief negotiator with Brussels, should he be appointed by the Council of Ministers of BiH, who are all the candidates for this position, we are still waiting for answers to these questions.
What is known is that the deadline for proposing the negotiator and his deputies, defined by the decision of the House of Representatives of BiH, is expiring.
As FTV has learned, the proposals for candidates for the negotiator with Brussels were submitted separately by Naša stranka and SDP after intensive meetings. The SDP candidate is Professor Lejla Ramić-Mesihović, Head of the Department of International Relations at the University of Sarajevo, while the Naša stranka candidate is Professor Lejla Hasanović, who is studying for a doctorate in Düsseldorf in the field of corporate law.
NiP has not yet come out with the name of the candidate, unofficially they say that publishing the name of a candidate who has not been agreed upon with the opposition parties from RS would be tactless.
SNSD previously proposed that Ana Trišić-Babić be the SNSD candidate. Babić was appointed acting head of the Department of International Relations at the University of Sarajevo until the early elections in Republika Srpska. of the President of the RS, which was also welcomed by the State Department.
