President of the SDP BiH, Nermin Nikšić, said that at yesterday’s meeting with representatives of political parties with a Croat ethnic prefix, they agreed on everything necessary regarding the appointment of the new FBiH Government.
In a statement to the media, Nikšić praised the atmosphere in which two agreements were made, which define the distribution of portfolios in the FBiH Government and the program goals of the new executive power at the FBiH level.
“We did not concern ourselves with anyone else but ourselves and what we want to do, to start as we promised, that before the appointment of the government we have concrete things, concrete programs and obligations that that government takes upon itself with its appointment and confirmation, and that together with the parliamentary majority in both houses of the parliament, it will be realized in the period ahead of us,” said Nikšić.
According to him, too much time has been lost since the election until today.
As for the allocation of mandates in the new FBiH Government, the HDZ BiH and the parties gathered around the HNS will keep the six portfolios that people from that party led in the previous mandate, while the other ten FBiH ministries will be held by the parties gathered around the coalition of the Eight.
“Within our group, we have already agreed on everything precisely and it is well-known which department belongs to whom and the public knows it as well. There were no changes in that aspect made today,” added Nikšić, Fena reports.
