On the orders and under the supervision of the acting prosecutors, the operation codenamed “Envelope” continued this morning. Investigators from the Sarajevo Canton Police Directorate are conducting searches at four locations in the Sarajevo Canton in order to find additional evidence related to illegal employment and illegal appointments in the institutions of the Sarajevo Canton.
The searches are being conducted at the Faculty of Dentistry, the Cantonal Directorate for Inspection Affairs, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty of Economics, the Sarajevo Canton Police Department announced.
Operation “Envelope” is the result of cooperation between the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office, the Cantonal Police Directorate of the Cantonal Police Department and the Anti-Corruption Office in processing corruption crimes committed to the detriment of the Cantonal budget through the illegal actions of individuals in the institutions of the system.
