President of the Organizing Committee for marking the 23rd anniversary of Srebrenica Genocide, Nermin Alivukovic, STATED that everything is ready for commemoration on July 11.

“We are ready for July 11. When it comes to the security situation, I received information from the Subcommittee for Security that everything is under the control and that there is no information regarding the security issues on July 11,” said Alivukovic.

He stated that he is satisfied with the activities that are taking place during the marking of the suffering of Bosniaks and Serbs.

“When it comes to activities in relation to marking the suffering of the Serb people, I can say that I am satisfied. The reason for that is that they do not insult the victims of genocide and there is no incidents or provocations, and I hope that it will be the same during July 11 and 12. We should all turn to the future after marking this sad anniversary,” stated Alivukovic.

The Commemorative Session of the Municipal Assembly of Srebrenica dedicated to victims of Srebrenica took place today, in the Cultural Center in Srebrenica.
