Documentary film “Fata” by Vedran Drljevic, was premiered at this year’s Sarajevo Film Festival, and now it is available on the Internet.
The film tells the story about the fan of FC Zeljeznicar, who has become one of the most beloved people in Grbavica by her presence and support for football.
About legendary Fata in the film talked former football players of Zeljo: Hadis Zubanovic, Bulend Biscevic, Miso Smajlovic, Adnan Guso, Marijan Antolovic and Zajko Zeba, former coaches Milomir Odovic and Jusuf Sehic, an employee of the club Dino Pekic, a former president of the club Kemal Kozaric, the former coach of Sarajevo, Husref Musemic and fan of Zeljo Adnan Mahmutovic Java.
“The film ‘Fata’ is a warm human story that speaks about a unique kind of love. Fata had a hard life and she was deprived for many goods that we have in our everyday lives. However, she found her satisfaction in Zeljo and that is the kind of love that cannot be described in words. This love is returned and that’s why I decided to make this film,” said the filmmaker Vedran Drljevic.
Besides Drljevic, on the film also worked Adis Hurem, Samir Cacan and Dzevad Arnautovic, while the music is signed by Sehsudin Osmanovic and band Man Down.
Drljevic emphasized that the film was made with the generous support of the football club Zeljeznicar and 1921 TV.
