The section of the motorway in the direction Doboj – Prnjavor is 36.6 kilometers long in total, and its construction was financed by credit funds from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the amount of 180 million EUR.

The contractor is a consortium of companies “Integral inzenjering Laktasi” and “Granit Skopje” with dozens of subcontractors. Companies provided jobs for more than 1,000 workers in the past period.

Besides the officials of RS, ceremonial opening of the new section will be attended by the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.

The other section of the motorway Banja Luka – Doboj, in the direction Banja Luka – Prnjavor, is 35.3 kilometers long, and its construction was financed by funds from the European Investment Bank in the amount of 160 million EUR.

The entire motorway Banja Luka – Doboj should be opened for traffic in the entire length of 72 kilometers by the end of 2017.
