The president of the alliance of Bosnian-Herzegovinian (BiH) associations in Austria, Consilium Bosniacum, Damir Saracevic, visited school inspector Senad Podojak, who was ceremonially awarded the honorary title Hofrat (court counselor) by the governor of Upper Austria – a prestigious Austrian recognition for exceptional contribution in public service.

As a sign of respect and pride, Saracevic on this occasion congratulated Podojak, who thus became the first Bosnian and Herzegovinian in Austria crowned with this title.

The title Hofrat, although it originates from the time of the monarchy, is today used as recognition for exceptional individuals in education, judiciary, and administration.

This recognition is not only a symbol of professional excellence but also a strong message to younger generations that work, knowledge, and dedication are recognized and appreciated in Austrian society.

With this title, Senad Podojak writes an important chapter in the history of the BiH community in Austria and confirms its value and contribution to society, N1 writes.
