vucic“Serbia will continue to invest a lot of effort into improving relations between Serbs and Bosniaks, because the stability of BiH and the entire region is crucial for us,” said Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic.

“We have a difficult time related to the anniversary of Operation Storm (Oluja), because Croats are celebrating and Serbs are mourning. That has not changed and will not change in the decades ahead of us, but I think we can change the attitude towards the future,” said Vucic at a joint press conference for journalists, with the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State, Victoria Nuland.

He said that he has not particularly talked with her about the anniversary of the crimes in Srebrenica and the operation “Storm”, and that the only thing that he can say in the name of Serbia is that they will continue to invest a lot in regional stability, adding that in this sense, conversations with Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic are very important for both nations.

“I believe that we will continue these discussions, since it is important for the stability,” noted Vucic.

He also that Serbia respected the decision of Bosniaks that none of its officials is welcome in Srebrenica and that he is sorry for that.
