Serbian President: Our Opinion on BiH is clear

The President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated that Belgrade has a clear stand on BiH and that it’s only interest is peace and stability in the region, as well as that Serbs and other peoples in BiH feel safe.

“I have been saying the same thing for five years and let me express the clear opinion of Serbia. We support the territorial integrity of BiH, we support the integrity of the RS within BiH, within the Dayton Agreement. If something needs to be changed in BiH then it is the matter of peoples who live in that country. We do not have any other interest besides the peace and stability in the region, as well as that Serbs and other peoples feel safe there,” said Vucic.

He also noted that he will not give up until the real joint economic zone is established in the region.

“You can call us a little EU in the Western Balkans if you want. Some people may not like it, but we do not care about that. We need the same duty rates, the same subsidies for foreign investors. We want to create a common market among our countries. Can you imagine what the common market in the Balkans would be able to achieve,” noted Vucic.

He told the Albanians that Serbia will not recognize the independence of Kosovo, noting that they do not have it, because they need Serbs for that.

“Without Serbia there is no membership in the UN, without Serbia there is no reception in Interpol, without Serbia there are no visits to China,” stated Vucic.
