Ensemble of Amira Medunjanin held a great concert last night in Belgrade by performing sevdalinka and other traditional songs from the entire region, reports Anadalu Agency.
This was Medunjanin’s fourth concert in Belgrade and it was held in the full hall ‘Kolarac’ and her interpretation of traditional songs received applauds.
The concert lasted for two hours during which Medunjanin presented her newest album ‘Amullete’ which was done in cooperation with Bojan Zulfikarpašić and Bachar Kalif.
After the concert she said she was very glad to see the positive reaction of the people, and added that this concert made yet another connection between Belgrade and Sarajevo.
She also noted that the entire region has very rich music tradition which is indeed a great treasure.
