Seven Companies from FBiH among the largest BH Exporters

import export“ArcelorMittal Zenica” is the biggest BH exporter. Besides this company, on the list of the ten biggest exporters from BiH in the last year are six other companies from the FBiH, two from the RS and one from Brcko District, as said from the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA).

In the second place after “Mittal” from Zenica is “Prevent BH” Visoko – Association for the design, development, production and sale of automotive applications, then “Aluminij” Mostar, “Sisecam Soda” Lukavac and “Alumina” Zvornik.

Among the top ten exporters from our country, last year was the “Global Ispat koksna industrija” from Lukavac, the factory for the oil production “Bimal” Brcko District, then “Cimos TMD” – automotive industry Gradacac, “Borac export-import” Travnik and in the tenth place “Optima group” Banja Luka.

Seven of these largest exporters from BiH are also among the top ten importers in our country.

In the first place of importers is “Optima Group”, which was founded by Russian “Zarubezhneft” after taking Refinery Bosanski Brod, Oil Refinery Modrica and retail network of gas stations “Nestro Petrol”.

“Holdina” Sarajevo, “Global Ispat-koksna industrija “, “Prevent” Visoko, “ArcelorMittal” Zenica, “Petrol BH Oil Company” Sarajevo, “Bimal”, then “Porsche” Sarajevo, “Aluminij” Mostar and “Cimos” from Gradacac are also on the list of largest BH importers for 2016.

The Head of Communications of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) Ratko Kovacevic confirmed that last year there was an increase in imports and exports, compared to 2015.

Actual exports from BiH in 2016 amounted to 9.7 billion BAM, while in 2015 it amounted to 9.07 billion BAM.

In the same period, imports in BiH amounted to 16.26 billion BAM, while in 2015 it was 15.27 billion BAM.
