This morning’s flight to Istanbul, scheduled for 08:30 local time, was canceled from the Sarajevo International Airport due to reduced visibility caused by thick fog.

“Considering that we expect an improvement in the weather conditions, the flights for today should be realized according to the planned flight schedule, and we have no announcements that they will be postponed or canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions,” the Sarajevo Airport told FENA.

Today’s Fly Dubai flight to Dubai has been canceled for operational reasons.

According to information from the METEO service at the Sarajevo International Airport, during the day the conditions for aviation operations will be more favorable in the afternoon and evening hours, while thick fog is expected again in the night.

Also, the weather conditions in the next three days will not differ significantly from today’s.

The fog in the area where the Sarajevo International Airport is located is quite a normal weather phenomenon at this time of year, so lately there have been delays and cancellations of flights in regular air traffic.
