SIDA is financing the waste disposal project in Vlasenica

Head of Vlasenica Municipality Dragoslav Todorović and manager of Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) Pelle Persson signed a Treaty on Financing the project ‘Expanding and Improving the System of Organised Waste Disposal in Vlasenica’.

The Treaty was signed in Sarajevo and it implies the acquisition of equipment for utility company ‘Čistoća’.

SIDA will finance this project with 205 000 EUR, while the Municipality will co-finance 10% of the project.

Representatives of the consulting house ‘Grontmij’ which is implementing the ‘Municipal Program of Waste Management in BiH’ and members of work group for creating the plan of waste management in Vlasenica Aleksandra Milanović Lalović and Željko Damljanović attended the signing of the treaty.

SIDA will give 10 million EUR of grant fund for the project Municipal Program of Waste Management in BiH’ which is being realized in 10 municipalities in RS.
