At the International University ‘Burch’, Faculty of Economy has opened ‘SASE classroom’ as a part of Agreement between the University and Sarajevo Stock Exchange, which also implies the introduction of the elective course ‘Capital Market’.
Rector of the University Hüseyin Padem said that the cooperation with Sarajevo Stock Exchanges is important and noted that through this project students will get better education about the capital market.
‘SASE classroom’ was opened by Hüseyin Padem, dean of Faculty of Economy Ali Goksu and manager of SASE Tarik Kurbegović.
‘We’ve recognised the need of the new generation who want to be fully ready to work jobs from this segment in the best possible manner. We’ve felt the need to help future economists who’ll work will be related to capital market, through good education. So, starting from the next semester students will be able to take a course called ‘Capital Market’ which will apart from theoretical part, it will also offer practice, and students will go to SASE and acquaint themselves with its work, and they will also have the opportunity to deal with stocks in a simulation’, said Kurbegović, and added that he hopes that other institutions will see this as a good step towards better education in creating better experts.
During the ceremony, Hüseying Padem thanked to SASA for their cooperation.
