The Minister of Transport of the Canton of Sarajevo, Adnan Šteta, signed project contracts for important transport projects for the Canton of Sarajevo with the director of the EBRD BiH, Manuela Naessl, after the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina had previously approved a loan.
These are contracts for adaptive traffic management and the construction of a traffic center, the procurement of additional trams and appropriate equipment, and the construction of the Ilidža-Hrasnica tram line.
The purpose of the mentioned projects is to solve one of the key challenges in the development of public transport infrastructure in Sarajevo Canton, and by signing the contracts for all the mentioned projects, the last steps were taken to sign the contracts with the contractors.
