Significant Increase in the Collection of the Tax Administration

Taxpayers of the FBiH paid a total of 1,255,491,243 BAM of direct taxes, contributions and fees in the period January – March of 2018.

Namely, taxpayers paid a total of 1.255.491.243 BAM of public revenues for which the Tax Administration of the FBiH is in charge, which represents an increase by 80.472.482 BAM or 6.85 % in comparison to the period January – March of 2017.

The total collection of direct taxes was by 22,572,558 BAM or 5.31 % higher in the period January – March 2018 when compared to January – March 2017.

Canton Sarajevo recorded the highest amount of paid public revenues, which amounted to 472.437.862 BAM and it is by 21.679.645 BAM higher than in the same period last year.

In the first three months of the year of 2018, in comparison to the same period last year, an increase was recorded in the income taxes, property taxes and contributions.

Contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance and unemployment were collected in the total amount of 807,006,670 BAM in the period January – March 2018, which represents an increase of 57,683,026 BAM or 7.7 % when compared to the same period of 2017.

Contributions for pension and disability insurance amounted to 448.328.161 BAM, contributions for health insurance amounted to 321.264.220 BAM, while contributions for unemployment insurance amounted to 37.414.289 BAM.
