Široki Brijeg on the Third Qualifying Round for European League; Sarajevo and Zrinjski Failed

fudbalŠiroki Brijeg Team is qualified for the third qualifying round of European League after last night‘s victory at “Pecara”, where they won against Kazakhstan Irtysh with the result 2:0.

Ješe at the19th minute and Ivanković at the 76 minute scored the goals from the representatives of BiH.

In the third qualifying round Široki Brijeg will play against Italian club Udinese.

Football players of Sarajevo and Zrinjski( Mostar) also played last night return matches of the  second qualifying round of the European league, but both teams were eliminated.

After the first match in Mostar, where they played against Bulgaria‘s Botev and resulted with a draw, players of Zrinjski last night were defeated with the result of 2-0. The Plovdiv Team celebrated goals of the Ognyan (80 minute) and Nedelev (89 minute).

At the stadium” Asim Ferhatović Hase” Sarajevo football players failed to break through the walls of the Albanian team Kukesi. The first match ended with a result of 3-0 in favor for Kukesi and the return match of Sarajevo ended with the result 0-0.

Sarajevo had initiative throughout the match but failed to take advantage of numerous chances. At the 68 minute Alen Mevlunović failed to take advantage of a penalty that goal man defender of Kukesi successfully caught.

Kukesi will play in the third qualifying round against the Ukrainian Metalurg from Donjeck.
