The ceremonial completion of the “Basic officer training for service specialists” and admission to the professional military service of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina took place today at the House of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo. Six participants of the training became members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina today.
The Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff for Resources of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, General Mirsad Ahmić, points out that by training new service specialists, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina show their determination to strengthen their abilities and capacities in all areas, including the health profession.
“I would like to emphasize that our basic training centers, in cooperation with other services, successfully organized this part of the thematic plan. The participants showed how important what we trained them was, and their tasks will be understood through several important functions. First of all, in cooperation with the medical service, we will support the execution of the missions of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They will have the opportunity to improve their own abilities and thus contribute to the strengthening of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Ahmić said.
The Assistant Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sead Muratović, points out that the Ministry regularly and continuously renews personnel, at a time when it is a big challenge to ensure that there are enough experts in an organization.
“We are happy to have six doctors in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who became officers after successfully completing the six-week training. We take care of gender equality and will continue to work in that direction in the future,” Muratović said, Fena reports.
