Cetinje native Vasko Ljeskovic (37) was killed on Friday in the courtyard of his house in Cetinje. He was believed to be a member of the Skaljari clan, whom the Kavac clan had been trying to locate and eliminate for years. Little is known about Ljeskovic, but he was allegedly close to Vladan Radoman, the brother of Goran Radoman, whose assassination marked the beginning of the war between the clans.
Vasko Ljeskovic was killed last week in the courtyard of his house, and according to initial information, it was the work of a professional executioner.
The man from Cetinje was killed by a sniper shot to the heart while in his courtyard. It is believed that the attacker had been watching Ljeskovic for some time, waiting for him to appear in the courtyard, and then fired the fatal shots. Ljeskovic was killed while having lunch in a courtyard surrounded by a high concrete wall, and the attacker, according to available information, shot him from a nearby hill.
Allegedly, the Kavac clan had been searching for this man for a long time and had offered 50.000 for information about him. He was considered close to Vladan Radoman, who is mentioned as one of the key figures in the Skaljari clan after the murder of the leader Jovan Vukotic in Istanbul.
The whereabouts of Radoman remain a mystery, and he is the brother of Goran Radoman, whose assassination marked the start of the bloody conflict between the rival Kotor clans – the Kavac and the Skaljari – during which dozens of people were killed.
Radoman killed with 25 bullets
Goran Radoman was killed in February 2015 with 25 bullets from a Heckler rifle after parking his armored “BMW” with Podgorica plates in the garage of a building in New Belgrade. The fact that the killer managed to enter the underground garage unnoticed and then coldly executed Radoman confirmed that it was a professional ambush.
As reported by the media, the assassination was well-prepared. Before the crime, the killer had moved every camera upwards to avoid being identified. He then went to the elevator, where he waited for Radoman. The moment the Kotor native approached the elevator, the killer emptied an entire magazine into him.
The war between the two notorious clans, the Kavac and the Skaljari began after the disappearance of around 200 kilograms of cocaine from an apartment in Valencia in 2014. Criminals held Radoman responsible for the disappearance. It is believed that his brother Vladan is one of the prominent members of the Skaljari clan, just like the murdered Ljeskovic.
Sky messages revealed the involvement of a police officer.
Recently, the media has published messages from the Sky application that suggest the Kavac clan had been inquiring about Ljeskovic for some time.
“I said we should try, alive, I would gouge his eyes out…” “I wanted to write to you anyway, but I’m waiting for tomorrow to confirm about Ljeskovic, a man is setting him up, hopefully, I’ll catch him…” “We won’t mention him too soon—just wait and see…” “I can’t catch this Ljeskovic from CT, he’s the only one who knows where it is…” These are just some of the messages exchanged between several members of the Kavac clan in 2020 and 2021 as they were planning the assassination of the high-ranking Skaljari member.
The messages reveal that someone from the Police Directorate was helping them locate this Skaljari member, according to N1.
“What’s his name, to check the border?” asked this police officer on December 9th, 2020, to a member of the Kavac clan’s Cetinje cell, who responded, “Vasko Ljeskovic.”
“Exited on February 2nd, 2020 for Pg-Milan. He hasn’t returned,” the officer wrote after the check.
Members of the clan exchanged several photographs of Ljeskovic during 2020 and 2021, referring to him by the nickname Konobar (Waiter).
