The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia has gladly announced its participation in this year’s Diplomatic Winter Bazaar, which will be held on Saturday, December 6th, in the “Mirza Delibasic” hall in Sarajevo, noting that they have prepared an exclusive offer for the auction – a basketball with Luka Doncic’s signature.

The Diplomatic Winter Bazaar will be open to visitors from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and at the Slovenian stand, visitors will be able to enjoy traditional delicacies such as walnut potica, Prekmurska gibanica, and Kranj sausage, as well as hot drinks – mulled wine, tea, and coffee.

In addition to gastronomic specialties, numerous high-quality products will also be presented: the famous Rogaska crystal, thermal products of the company SnowMonkey, official shirts of Tadej Pogacar, Afrodita cosmetics, premium wines from Klet Brda and Puklavec Family Wines, and homemade delicacies from the organic farm Vonj poletja.

As part of the auction program, a unique basketball made on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Basketball Federation of Slovenia will be presented.

It is a Spalding TF-1000 Legacy ball from a limited series, which has never been available for public sale. A special value of this item is the personal signature of Luka Doncic, the greatest Slovenian basketball player and one of the leading global sports stars.

Luka Doncic, who began his career in Olimpija and achieved worldwide recognition in Real Madrid, has achieved extraordinary successes – from winning EuroBasket 2017 with the Slovenian national team to the Euroliga championship title in 2018 and the MVP award.

After impressive seasons with the Dallas Mavericks, Doncic moved to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2025, where he continues to achieve top results and confirm his status as one of the best players of his generation.

“This rare collector’s item symbolizes the long tradition and successes of Slovenian basketball, as well as the sports spirit and global influence of Luka Doncic,” the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia stated.
