Slovenian Media: Bingo could buy Mercator

Merchant chain Mercator in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) could soon be offered for sale, the prominent Slovenian daily “Dnevnik” writes.

As sources of this daily claim, some investors from the Arab world and merchant chain Bingo are interested in buying.

Investors from Serbia are interested in taking over the commerce in Republika Srpska, according to “Dnevnik.”

The daily found out informally that Agrokor’s leading team, headed by government delegate Ante Ramljak, does not oppose this takeover, of course with a reasonable price.

We recall that, as previously mentioned, the merchant chain from Banja Luka – Tropic sent a bid for taking over Mercator.

In addition, we remind that in the summer, the Croatian media wrote that Bingo and a certain bank from Saudi Arabia intend to take over Konzum in BiH.
