After the introduction of the joint TAG device for toll collection made it possible for drivers from Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia to pass through the toll booths on the highways without waiting, BiH citizens will soon be able to do the same.

On the initiative of the relevant ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia, Edin Forte and Goran Vesić, a protocol on cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina will be signed in Belgrade on Thursday.

All those who have a TAG device of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to pass through ramps on motorways in Serbia without waiting and vice versa. This will be especially significant in the tourist season when there are longer waits at toll stations.

“In the coming period, we expect to sign a memorandum on the joint collection of tolls by public companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina with companies from Croatia, so that by the end of the year the toll collection systems will be practically connected and thus facilitate the movement of passengers and goods between the countries of the region,” said Minister Forto, it was announced by the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
