The program “Bosnian heritage” was traditionally held for the eighth time at the tower in Vranduk today, with food, games and stories from the medieval period.
Celebration of today’s program was attended by prominent residents of Zenica, as well as by young people who have had the opportunity to become accustomed with old tools, costumes and ways of competition.
Director of the Museum of Zenica Adnadin Jašarević said that today they went 800 years back to feel the real charm of medieval Bosnia.
“We organize a presentation and tasting of medieval dishes, games such as sack races, javelin, horseshoe throwing, and archery, and we also promote the annual collection of stories in which we publish stories by authors from around the region who write about Bosnia and Herzegovina and the keepers of the medieval Bosnia”, said Jašarević.
The menu included, among Bosnian ćevapi, the Bosnian pot and veal with prunes. Scouts from Zenica taught archery and javelin throwing to children today, and socializing continued in a good atmosphere.
