In Sokolović Kolonija, works on the construction of the sports hall have started. In March this year, the municipality has announced a tender for the works on the construction of the bi-functional shelter underneath the parking space within the sports hall in Sokolović Kolonija – Phase I, after which the company “Velbos” was selected as the most favorable contractor for this phase of the construction.
The funds which amounted to 1,734,667 BAM with VAT are planned for the first phase of construction, as confirmed by the municipality of Ilidža.
It is planned to complete the rough construction works (excavation of the land and works on reinforced concrete on the basement level) within the first phase of works.
“Spatial solution of the complex of sports hall features an indoor space of approximately 2,700 square meters within which there is three-part hall with stands, trailing space and additional space for exercise, as well as the dual-purpose shelter in the basement area of the building that will serve as the parking space in times of peace”, as confirmed by Rifko Šećerović from the Municipality Ilidža.
According to the main project, the capacity of main hall is 300 seats on the stands, and according to the project, the designer has a task to design and comply the hall with the international technical standards and special regulations for space and equipment for dividing of sports events according to the FIBA certificate and standard DIN 1832/2.
The estimated value of the total investment is approximately 4 million BAM.
