Srebrenica: Circus Camp and Workshop for 1.000 Children

circuskampBauern Helfen Bauern/Salzburg-Bratunac announces workshops for over 1.000 children and participation at the circus camp from Germany and Austria that is designed as a place where children could spend time together, have fun and learn something new.

The camp will be held in Srebrenica (branch school in Potočari) from 27-31 August. From Tuesday to Saturday, various activities for children will be organized, and through workshops in practicing circus acts, it will culminate in a gala presentation on Saturday, 31 August 2013 at 16:00.

This is the fourth time that Bauern Helfen Bauern is organizing this event for children from the area of Srebrenica and Bratunac. Until now, over 4.000 children have passed through the circus camp, and all activities that take place during the circus camp in Srebrenica they will to be exposed to multiethnicity, because the goal of the project is to contribute to reconciliation and better coexistence.

The ERSTE Foundation that awarded this project the award for social integration 2013 in competition with several thousand projects from 13 European countries has further confirmed the importance and success of the project.
