The Commander of EUFOR, Major General Maurizio Fronda, met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Henk Van Den Dool in Sarajevo.
Discussions focused on continued diplomatic-military cooperation and shared efforts to support stability and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Major General Fronda expressed appreciation for the Netherlands’ contribution to international peace and security initiatives in the region, furthermore he reaffirmed EUFOR’s vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all citizens and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration with local partners.
He also highlighted the valuable contribution of Dutch personnel within EUFOR, commending their commitment towards the fulfillment of EUFOR’s mandate, and reasserted EUFOR’s commitment to remain a visible, credible and impartial partner within Bosnia and Herzegovina.
