Commenting on recent events in the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Ambassador HE Edward Ferguson said:
“Like everyone else, I am very disappointed with the latest crisis in the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Now that the Stabilisation and Association Agreement has entered into force, Bosnia and Herzegovina is facing new responsibilities and the authorities need to start delivering. We call on all parties to stop arguing amongst themselves about positions and patronage and to get on and implement the reforms that they promised in the Written Commitment. It is the ordinary people of Bosnia and Herzegovina who will suffer the consequences of continued political paralysis. Political leaders need to take responsibility and deliver on their commitments. There is no more time to waste.”
